This leads to the majority of the playerbase, including the forum browsers, to agree on something that isnt always correct, and likely spreads such information onto newer players.Īnd this is one of the main reasons why the WoWS playerbase does not improve over the years skillwise. CCs are all excellent content creators but their content is often incorrect, and their popularity spreads any false information like a wildfire. However, one have to understand that popular =/= knowledgeable. They do an excellent job and their contribution is a part of what makes the game great. The root of this problem lies within the CCs, CCs are popular people who reach out to the community and creates content for WoWS. Something among the lines like "wow you have x average damage, you play worse than a bot" or even worse "look at that average win rate, I would never want to be on your team you (insert insults here)"īut I want to talk about the second part of stat shaming, something that the higher level players often have to do to gain authority. The first is obviously against the rules. I think its time we draw a clear line between what is stat shaming that is general harassment, and what is stat shaming to prove a point.
